Marathon Latin Festival 2022
An all-day celebration of Latin music and culture filled the Marathon Community Park on Dec. 17 as the city hosted its first-ever Marathon Latin Festival. Headlined by Cuban music pioneer Yoandys Lores González – better known by his stage name Baby Lores – proceeds from the festival went to support Somos Esperanza, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to offering hope to disadvantaged families with children suffering from pre-existing conditions or chronic or incurable diseases.
Artists in the festival’s lineup include Lores, Insurrecto, Lenier, El Micha, El Kamel, El Uniko, Alvaro La Figura, Dayami La Musa, Dayran Perdomo, Davy Lores, Jose Yamil, Poesia Urbana, Erick Lexi and Eddy Borges.
